OVERVIEW

To help Honda capitalize on their brand image, status and distribution throughout the United States, Complex created a truly one-of-a-kind franchise advertising opportunity that tied Honda into the consumer/shopping, nightlife and music culture of the country's most exciting cities, while providing Complex readers with a unique road-map and reference guide that also showcased Honda vehicles, promotions and special offers. This 360° marketing program included a custom franchise in-book opportunity, online and event components.

Using our relationships within the industry, Complex aligned Honda with some of the hottest fashion retailers, and destinations across the country through a custom branded "Style Revelations" feature which ran in Complex's November '07 and Dec/Jan '08 issues.

Complex took the same message online and developed a comprehensive premium branded content section on Complex.com that shared the same in-book "Style Revelations" experience plus even more information not featured in-book, while providing direct links to Honda's websites.

EVENTS

Complex created two high-profile Honda "Style Revelations" events in Los Angeles and New York City at Club Ritual and the Complex Platinum Club retail store. The brand new 2008 Honda Accord was displayed outside both venues and both events brought out a crowd of tastemakers and industry insiders.

CUSTOM SURVEY

On behalf of the Honda Revelations campaign, Complex conducted an independent research survey, which resulted in over 700 responses — over 72.2% had a more positive view of Honda after the campaign and over 73.7% would consider buying a Honda for their next car purchase.
