COMPLEX MEDIA RE-LAUNCHES OFFICIAL WEB SITE FOR G4 TV HOST OLIVIA MUNN
NEW YORK, NY—February 5, 2009—Olivia Munn, host of G4 TV’s Attack of the Show has joined forces with Complex Media to re-launch her official Web site, Oliviamunn.com. The site, formerly known as HeyOlivia.com, will include a line up of new features in addition to taking on a new name. New features include an online community for the Olivia Munn Fan Group (OMFG) where users can register for exclusive access to Munn and select content; a video player featuring exclusive content produced by both Olivia Munn and Complex Media; downloadable wallpapers, photo galleries and more.
Munn’s Web site launched during the 2008 Comic Con convention in New York City, covering all things technology and gadget–related through photo and video blogs and cataloging industry events and product releases through witty and humorous narration. The site currently generates 800,000 page views and 135,000 unique visitors per month and recently became one of the newest members of the Complex Media Network, which will oversee all monetization via display ads and additional revenue streams.
In addition to handling the visual redesign, Complex Media also improved the site’s functionality, its back-end technology and support systems, from hosting to consumer engagement tools. The company will also work with Munn on promoting the site using social networking tools and the reach of Complex.com, ComplexVideo.com and select partner sites. Munn will create most of the content, but Complex Media will assist with video production and photo galleries.
In addition to this, Munn also serves as a columnist for Complex magazine where she offers her perspective on everything from relationships and food to grooming products. Munn’s relationship with Complex Media began last year after appearing on the cover of Complex magazine’s February/March 2008 issue.
